Writing About an Evolution
I’ve been struggling to simply allow my thoughts to come through, to express myself. Somewhere along the way I learned not to like doing it.
I did some soul searching and asked a Guiding Voice what I ought to be writing about. This is what came through:
Write about the electric lightening that fills all of us and is in all of us and that we are dying under the nonsense of material living.
Talk about how miserable your children are. Talk about the way your women’s sexuality goes unnourished because your men’s hearts are unfulfilled.
Talk about the angry beast of nationalism that is rumbling beneath your feet as you go on pretending not to notice. A beast you all have fed continuously. A beast that feeds off the needs of one people so the bellies of another can be fattened. One against the other, white against black, young against old, rich against poor whilst you all lose!
Talk about mudslides and hurricanes and tsunamis – rupturing all over the planet like pus-filled wounds on the back of your own Mother Nature.
‘’ If you want to write, then write to have a conversation. If you want to have a conversation, then have a conversation that will entice people to use their imagination. To act on their own behalf, on their own agency to save their souls. For God’s sakes child, if you’re going to write, then write!’’
If you’re going to write about something, write about the way your children mourn silently under the weight of uninspired, stuffy classrooms. Write about hard workers who go unnoticed, leaders who go unsupported, givers who never receive in return as you siphon the life force out of them.
If you want to write, then write to have a conversation. If you want to have a conversation, then have a conversation that will entice people to use their imagination. To act on their own behalf, on their own agency to save their souls. For God’s sakes child, if you’re going to write, then write!
