Biting the Hand that Feeds You

Biting the Hand that Feeds You

I think you will spend 35 seconds reading this post

Biting the hand that feeds you.
Sometimes when I feed my dog, she jumps at the food and ends up biting me. Because she’s so afraid the food will hit the floor. That I might change my mind or it may be otherwise swept away by some figment of her imagination.
That’s how we are with each other.
It doesn’t happen because the we’re being malicious. But because we’re too anxious. Too afraid the food will hit the floor or that we’ll miss an opportunity.  When if we just slowed down, we’d get what’s coming to us anyway. Maybe, we’ll even get more than what we asked for.
